But the record clearly says Japan 1986 on it?
it's not Japan, it's not 1986 and even most of the song names on the cover are wrong
it's 30.05.1984 's-Hertogenbosch
Apart from that no idea if it was released in transparent, sorry
I'll give it a whirl. If the album cover reads "Japan 1986" and we are telling you there is no such concert (which there is not see?http://www.cure-concerts.de/main/1986.php) then it is a fake. If the concert is 30.05.1984 's-Hertogenbosch then it should READ THAT ON THE COVER OF THE ALBUM.
your name...like ice into my heart...a shllow grave...a monument to the ruined age...ice in my eyes...and eyes like ice don't move...screaming at the moon...as cold as silence...and you never will say a word...this is my name...and a strange day...ever and ever and ever again......
i think it is not a fake, just the wrong name ... a fallacy of the record company ?
but who can solve this ?

There are multiple pressings of this on a variety of colored vinyl. I have a black, clear, and green copy I believe. As for the exact show, and date I have no idea. Just poor packaging, and info, that was a common trait for boot vinyl in the 80's and 90's.
It was the secret show in Tokyo in 1986 when they famously refused to promote The Head On The Door album......maybe?......not really.
Well, I've seen track titles wrong before & certainly photos from totally different eras but the year & country wrong? Especially when it's the name of the bootleg. That is an epic fail isn't it? It's actually Netherlands 1984 (close to Japan ) 30.05.1984 's-Hertogenbosch
I had this LP in early 90's!! I can confirm: mine was clear (transparent) vinyl too. Quality was really poor (that's why I sold it). Recording from Hertogenbosch 31.05.1984. If I'm not wrong: speed were slow too (like the "Dressing Up" boot, 2 LP set)
what is a fake record anyway?? isnt all bootlegs considered fake ...?and this is clearly a bootleg....
Very good point actually. I think really, there are bootlegs that are considered extremely collectible. I know from the MyHeartland forum that Sisters collectors do actively chase certain boots that are predominantly very rare (very few pressed). But what does often happen is that some douchebag will run off a number of copies of a rare one & pass it off as the "real deal". Usually that's done with CD boots & to be blunt, I would advise anyone to avoid CD boots like the plague, as they are more often than not cruddy mp3s on a CDR masquerading as silver CDs. Vinyls are a harder thing to copy. But there are fakers.
