"The Cure also plans to do another set of Trilogy style shows which will take place around the world at the end of 2014. Following the Cure's previous full-album shows of the Reflections tour consisting of Three Imaginary Boys, Seventeen Seconds and Faith, this new series will reportedly feature the 1980s albums The Top, The Head on the Door and Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me played live in their entirety."
^^ maybe the next trilogy?
I think Bob knows we might be expecting that, so I am expecting him to deliver something much different.

I honestly don't know what to expect... maybe some new songs? What about a preview of Christmas Without You? It's unlikely that they won't play ANY single, and to be honest I would never ask them to do it, but I hope they'll bring back some unusual stuff like Sinking, The Baby Screams, Screw, Piggy In The Mirror, some gems from Bloodflowers (pretty pretty please? ), and of course an epic version of Charlotte Sometimes for GOD! I'd love to hear a bunch of b-sides, A Chain Of Flowers, Halo, A Foolish Arrangement... I know a girl that would cry for a week if they did The Exploding Boy! And This Twilight Garden... I don't want them to do it only because I WANT TO BE THERE WHEN THEY'LL DO IT!! Please Robert, don't! ARRRGGHH...
Tapers, that's what I'm hoping for.. More accurately, tapers that share...
ill be taping via iPhone voice memo all 3 nights...
hopefully someone with better facilities renders mine pointless

You can get a very good capture if you use an app called Røde Recorder and the mic that's inline on the headphones. Put the phone in your pocket, run the headphone cable up under your shirt and hang the earphones and mic out the front of your shirt.
Tape the mic (with the mic hole facing forward) to the front of your shirt, put your phone in Airplane mode (so any incoming calls don't halt the recording (like happened to me at Radiphead)) and off you go.
Use Scotch Magic Tape to hold the mic to your shirt. One piece on the top and one at the bottom. Hide the tape pieces on the back of your phone... no one will check your phone and headphones
When you get in there its easy to set up in your seat or in standing.
PM me if u need any help with setup, extraction of audio and coverting etc
If you have a lead on Brisbane 21 August 1992 - CT version, for the love of Bob, let me know. Please!
That's happened before - Top Era , so by doing all the songs included in the three shows of that era would fulfil all the 'deep cut' / 'fan fave' etc etc description , and that's before you add on anything else ..
I've lots of gaps in my Top era stuff that I've seen live so that'll do me a treat !
Either way , it's the Cure so it's gonna be ace no matter what !?
Liqueur drummer and big Cure fan .. 15 English concerts since '92
I reckon ................... the hall will be adorned with tables and chairs and we'll all sit down to Christmas Dinner - The Cure serenading us with carols til Santa lands daintily on the stage.
