To be honest, I still miss the House so much. Ten years of cuddles & stuff will always stay with me.
Basil has really brought a smile to my face though & I do hope he likes The Cure

I always say the new pet never replaces the one who has passed, but they do replace the sadness with joy. He's adorable and Basil is great!

Meet Sooty!

I haven't met her myself yet, but we're bringing her home tomorrow after school

Quite chuffed that my daughter chose a black one!

Hoping she will get on ok with Scratchy if we introduce them properly - gawd knows I've watched enough YouTube guinea pig 'getting to know you' videos over the last fortnight to have a decent stab at it...apparently the most important thing is to start them off in neutral territory - flights to Switzerland are too expensive so they are going to have to make do with the kitchen floor.
