Firstly, download uTorrent from here: www.utorrent.com/
Many people, myself included, prefer older versions of uTorrent, they have none of the adverts or add ons the current versions contain, I recommend downloading uTorrent 2.2 from here:
www.filehorse.com/download-utorrent/7858/
As torrents and P2P are frowned upon in some areas it is useful to add some protection to your client, two basice are PeerBlock and IpFilter. PeerBlcok runs all the time you are online, IpFilter runs hand in hand with uTorrent.
PeerBlock: www.peerblock.com/
IpFilter: www.fear-otaku.org/filterupdater/
Once you have installed uTorrent select the "Create New Torrent" tab.
If you are uploading a single file, select "Add file", if you are uploading a folder with more than one file inside, select "Add directory". You then browse to where your file or folder is stored and double click, the title of your file/folder will now appear under the "Select Source" title.
You now need to add trackers, trackers should always be seperated by an empty line, like so:
9.rarbg.com:2710/announce
announce.torrentsmd.com:6969/announce
bt.careland.com.cn:6969/announce
explodie.org:6969/announce
mgtracker.org:2710/announce
tracker.best-torrents.net:6969/announce
tracker.tfile.me/announce
tracker.torrenty.org:6969/announce
tracker1.wasabii.com.tw:6969/announce
udp://9.rarbg.com:2710/announce
udp://9.rarbg.me:2710/announce
udp://coppersurfer.tk:6969/announce
udp://exodus.desync.com:6969/announce
udp://open.demonii.com:1337/announce
udp://tracker.btzoo.eu:80/announce
udp://tracker.istole.it:80/announce
udp://tracker.openbittorrent.com:80/announce
udp://tracker.prq.to/announce
udp://tracker.publicbt.com:80/announce
Feel free to copy and paste my list of trackers, ensuring you keep the empty line between each tracker. Paste the list of trackers under the "Torrent Properties", "Trackers" heading.
You can enter a comment in the space provided but, that's completely up to you.
Leave "Piece size" as auto detect.
Next, you need to tick the "Start Seeding" and "Preserve File Order" headings, then just below those headings click the "Create and save as" tab. Once the .torrent file is created you will ask where on your computer you wish to save it, I always save my .torrent files in downloads folder but, save them wherever you wish!
Your newly created torrent will now appear in uTorrent, right click on that torrent and select "Properties" followed by "Initial Seeding". Initial Seeding is important as it allows each person downloading your file or folder to download different pieces, so instead of, say, ten people downloading the same piece you will have ten people downloading ten different pieces, that way your upload will be shared quicker.
So that's it. .torrent file created and ready to upload to here ...............
To to do that, click on the "Add Attachment" tab at the top of this box, click on "+ Add files" and browse to your .torrent file, double click on the .torrent file and then select "Insert" and finally click on "Done", that's it your .torrent file has now been added and you are ready to share your upload.
