Over in Sisters-land, you'll be pleased to know that we've got our team together in record time. And there's a nice mix to it as well. 6 Englanders, 1 German, 1 Scot, 1 Manx, 1 Greek and a Girl.
1. Contact those members who you know have an interest in fantasy football. 2. Contact those members who you know have an interest in real life football. 3. Contact those members who you have a close relationship with (real or cyber). 4. Contact those members who are valued members of the community (which is how I snagged you). 5. Beg.
But, as this is your box of tricks, you have another weapon at your disposal.
Don't think you can see other people's squads, if you could there's nothing stopping you copying a team that's doing well.
No, and yes. Nobody can see each others teams before the GW1 deadline. After FPL updates (approx 30mins), everyone can see everyone. That's the way it progresses throughout the season but you're always viewing a GW behind.
However, you can see each other players trannies (just the number, not the actual trannie), but by monitoring TV and ITB of an opponent, it becomes very easy to guess their moves.
Yes, you can copy a team that's doing well. But you'll probably be one week behind in price rises (so can't afford it) and have no insight into what the manager of the successful team is gonna do next.
Quality over Quantity ...... you have a Tottenham collection.
Fair point, but I have been monitoring and hand-picking the team behind the scenes.
In the nicest possible way, I might suggest that we have a few players with experience, some virgins and a bunch of very successful players (I've seen their stats) who I've persuaded to come out of retirement. Just for this.
Only for the last four seasons. And last season I had a mare. No Yaya, no Ramsey etc., waiting for their DM bubbles to burst, which never happened. God, (not you, the real one), crucified me in all my leagues. It was a learning curve.
