A weird one I know, but a few posts about the Uncut mag has prompted this.
What smells float your boat? & why?
I'll kick off with new magazines. They are just amazing. I think I could hang around in a news agents the whole day sniffing stuff. I suppose it's the chemicals from the ink/ paper. There is just something irresistible about them.
OK, if we're having a dedicated thread for this over here I have got to get new vinyl in. With new records you got the double whammy of the smell of the cover too, especially the gatefold jobs.

Cats! Nothing better than shoving your face into a big furry cat and having a good sniff! I love the smell of cats! Amazing really, considering they wash in cat spit

Mmm any kind of ink, paint, sometimes glue... but also less "chemical" smells, the sea and freshly mowed grass Aahhh I'm in love with this thread! Thinking about all the smells that I enjoy distracts me from the jealousy for the secret Cure show
