DISINTEGRATION is definitely one of the best songs ever written... it always sends a shiver down my spine... Which version do you like the most and why?

There's no question that The Prayer Tour had the best versions of Disintegrations EVER played. I've heard hundreds of versions all through the years. I just wish it had worked out that I went to see them in 1989... If anything just to experience Boris' drumming LIVE! Only way I can SORT of recreate it is to just play a good soundboard Prayer Tour gig... especially the Paris one.
sure the versions of 1989 are very good. but I like the versions from 1998 rather, they are slower as the Bizarre Festival in 1998, one of my favorite versions...
your name...like ice into my heart...a shllow grave...a monument to the ruined age...ice in my eyes...and eyes like ice don't move...screaming at the moon...as cold as silence...and you never will say a word...this is my name...and a strange day...ever and ever and ever again......
I haven't been to any gigs in the 80s and early 90s due to my age...but I ADORE the Entreat version and I'd take that one over any later live version any day! Disintegration is still (and will always be) one of my fave songs of all time.

Ahhh Disintegration, one of my top 3 Cure songs ever... it almost has a therapeutic effect on me, it's so pure, intimate and at the same time powerful! I listen to it especially when I can't give a shape to my feelings, and it's always a relief then Well, I think I could go on talking about it for hours, but I don't want to be repetitive lol I don't think that I can find a version of this song that can really disappoint me
I really love any version from 1989/90, it sounded wild and angry rather than nostalgic, and also the weird version from Vancouver 1996 ! I would also love Robert to play it with the bass VI again...
1989-03-07 Bordeaux really fast and a stunning ending. Robert really gets into it on this one. I love when he gets nuts at the end of Disintegration. I think when he ends it with a bang it makes it so much more exciting. It's supposed to have emotion, because it is an emotional song,
Picked the '89 versions, the Fender VI Bass and 'always' outro' is amazing and seems to go on when the band is in great mood. Believe the Dallas Starplex version is a fine and definitive example.
