Everyone's been raving about that today. Haven't seen any of it yet, but I hear it included plenty of "we love you Glastonbury, thankyou, it means so much, etc. etc."s
Although I'm not particularly a fan of Metallica (I do own 1 album, and Enter Sandman 12"), I think it's right that they (or similar from the genre) were given a chance to headline. In fact, they should have had the chance before Jay-Z had his chance to represent (C)Rap.
I thought the Arcade Fire set was fairly good but didn't top their Earls Court show with Ian McCulloch. I caught a bit of Lana Del Rey(?) yesterday, never heard before but she was dull, dull, dull. Pixies were good, don't like Paz as much as Kim2 though. Looking forward to catching up with Metallica and Mogwai
Ian McCulloch has a dig at Arcade Fire at the Shepherd's Bush gig, said "they just need to find a chorus" ........ some lovely person uploaded that gig on here.
Boo! Massive Attack not allowing their set to be broadcast! Tried to watch The Horrors from earlier and the iplayer kept crashing! I might just give up and go to bed
BBC Radio 6 Music @bbc6music 11m Sorry everyone, this was posted in error. As @bbcglasto tweeted earlier the band asked us not to record their set for Radio, TV or online
