This isn't actually public knowledge yet, but we were told at the Rock Hall's Curætion 25 screening that Lol is going to be there for a talk and meet & greet and signing on April 01, as part of their Play It Loud program. The event is from 6pm-9pm for anyone who is also local and interested. More details to follow.
Here is a 2016 episode of Joe Wong's podcast, The Trap Set, in which he interviews Lol. I haven't listened to it yet.
I met Joe Wong last summer at a friend's house while he was in town to record on his side project, Parts and Labor. At least I think that's why he was in his house. If I had known about the connection to Lol, I might have asked him a few questions instead of acting like a maniac and jumping on the mini trampoline.
Looks like Lol and Budgie from the Banshees are working on the debut album for a new project called LXB, as noted here by Brooklyn Vegan. There is also a new podcast by the pair of them in the works:
Budgie & Lol announced they're starting a new goth-oriented podcast titled “The Bleak End" that will be about the early days of The Cure and the Banshees and will have them talking with other musicians from that era.

Two years later, this finally has a new date... this Thursday. Of course, we are headed out of town that morning for a long weekend trip. Disappointed we'll miss this. Really wanted to hear him speak and get my copy of Cured signed. Que será, será.
