<spoiler alert> i thought theon's demise was the most heartbreaking. at least he got some peace from bran. my goddaughter (we have bonded over GoT) called arya "our stabby little love child".
Just been reading a load of stuff on people moaning because the episode (The Long Night) was too dark. I personally didn't have any issues at all, although I do pull the shutters down & watch stuff like this in a darkened room. Anyone else think it was too dark?

Wasn't the best encode, a lot of the low levels were crushed. Still perfectly watchable.
On an unrelated note, Avengers pulled the same trick for their big battle scene without the excuse of it being night time and snowing - makes editing and continuity a lot easier to manage if a bright sunny day in the countryside becomes a murky brown with a cloudy sky

Definitely too dark for streaming. HBO doesn't have the best streaming capacities and I experienced a lot of banding and stuff, essentially much of the episode looked like a bad gif... I suspect that it will look much better on blu-ray because of the higher bit rate, but as they are making a show that most(?) people view using a streaming service I wish they would have had that in mind when they made the episode.

I know that this has been an issue for quite some time, but dear lord, I hate how much travel times doesn't matter anymore. It's so glaringly obvious with Cersei being pregnant...
On a lighter note, (and ignoring other issues with the episode) I enjoyed hearing Coster-Waldau's Danish accent making a brief appearance
