Would be good publicity for the Royal Mail if they did pay the amount Cris paid in compensation to either the Teenage Cancer Trust or to Cris, Cris has still lost a lot of money but, I do understand not wanting to reclaim from a Charitable Organisation.
I received an email this morning from TCT saying they have filled a form to ask compensation from Royal Mail as it´s not likely they´ll find the tambourine.
They´ve said they sent me a signed t-shirt. And offered me a refund which I refused. I think they need all the money they can raise. If this is going to be someone´s loss let it be mine, not theirs.
Anyway, just wanted to say a HUGE THANKS to ALL of YOU here who´s helped me get the wheels going on this. I know I´d never get to do this on my own without your valuable help, and if Royal Mail has looked for the tambourine it was due to the massive pressure they got from all of us! They still owe me a reply about the whole thing and I will definitely let you all know the minute I get it.
Thank you, guys! You´ve been more than FAB!! *Hugs & kisses*
Cris
That's very good of you and I'm glad you're being given some sort of replacement. Maybe it'll surface one day!
Wonder if it's a newly signed shirt, or the same shirt that was auctioned. If it was one of the auctioned shirts, why didn't they offer one to pussycat??
Yep I said the same. They can't have got new ones as the band haven't been in the UK to sign any.

I´ve sent an email to TCT asking them to claim the money from RM as compensation for the loss of the tambourine. They´ve filled a form and I want this money to be donated to TCT. I dont know how much it´ll be though, but TCT said they´ll keep me informed as soon as they get to know that as well.
I do want RM to pay for their poor/rubbish service!

I wouldn't have the heart to take the money back from a charity ... But RM ... I wouldn't hesitate They are sods as often only compensate for the cost of the original item In other words the Tambourine . The other thing is did any of the items come with certificates ? I asked one of the owners of the high priced this years shirt ( it's ok they know me well ) and he said no his didn't . So was going to print out the eBay thing as proof. My shirt just arrived as a shirt In envelope with TCT stickers .
So I suspect who ever opened it has no idea what it was
Having said that I wouldn't be surprised if that went missing on route rather then delivered to wrong address.. It wouldn't be hard to google TCT .. And check the web pages out So it may appear at a later date .. Someone will slip up if it was taken in route ... Eventually.
People like that are too greedy to sit on stuff for too long .. I'm really sorry to hear no joy. But your kindness is outstanding .
Hello everyone, on a final note about Roger's tambourine... I have received an email from RM apologising for what happened, saying they're very sorry blah blah blah, and that it's going to take time for me to put trust on them again, blah, blah, blah....whatever. The official news is: It's gone.
Also, It took aaaaaaages to get here, but the signed t-shirt that TCT sent me has finally arrived safe and sound! It included a note from Lauren, whom was my contact on TCT since RM lost the tambourine. That was really nice of her.
I'd like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to all of you who's helped me all this time, contacting TCT and RM, and kept sending me the best wishes on finding the tambourine. I know for sure that things did walk faster cause we were all together on this. For that, I can not thank you enough! You're the best! *hugs&kisses*
Glad the shirt got there. I\m still checking auction sites every day though in case the tambourine does appear
Thanks, Steve. I do that all the time as well. I don't think the person would be that dumb to try and sell it online after all this massive messages all over the internet about it being lost/stolen, do you?
