I always had a lot of time for Morrissey, never saw The Smiths but caught most of his tours from Vauxhall onwards but haven't seen him since the Palladium show in 2011. I sill listen to his old stuff occasionally but he hasn't written a decent song for a long while and Jesse Tobias isn't even a good Alain Whyte substitute never mind Johnny Marr.
His voice is still great but everything else I liked about him has pretty much gone.
Being unable to get his head out of his arse to acknowledge Bowie is pretty unforgivable.
Fortunately, Johnny Marr still tours and plays the old stuff properly
