On Thurs 20 June, Earl Slick, one of the guitarists who played on The Next Day (and in several eras with Bowie in the past), is speaking in London. "Diary of a Sideman," 7:30 pm, South Bank Centre as part of Meltdown curated this year by Yoko Ono. Slick, an American, also worked with John Lennon and Ono.
I have to agree there. You often hear douchey rap & hip hop artists blathering on about "keeping it real" Bowie does just that & doesn't need to tell everyone every fifteen seconds.
'Sue (Or In A Season Of Crime)' as a new single at November 17th 2014!!! + Greatest Hits album 'Nothing Has Changed'
'Sue (Or In A Season Of Crime)', will be released as a limited edition 10" single and digital download the same day as the album via Parlophone in the UK on November 17. The 10" will also feature another exclusive 2014 recording on the B-side: 'Tis A Pity She’s A Whore'.
Alongside the brand new A-side track, 'Nothing Has Changed' features the previously unreleased 'Let Me Sleep Beside You' from the 'Toy' album sessions. The download only 'Your Turn To Drive' will also be making its debut on CD for Nothing Has Changed and the 2001 re-recording of the 1971 outtake, 'Shadow Man', is included too.
