Ahead of their last ever gigs, Carter USM take control of Now Playing via Twitter and create an unmissable farewell playlist in collaboration with 6 Music listeners.
Jim "Jim Bob" Morrison and Les "Fruitbat" Carter will be live in the 6 Music studio and on Twitter as they curate two hours of the show's music, sifting through 6 Music listeners' suggestions using the hashtag #Carter6Music.
Carter USM formed in 1988, making a name for themselves with their mix of drum machine, guitars and satirical, word-play-laiden lyrics, which provided Indie disco classics including 'Sheriff Fatman' and 'Blood Sport for All'.
Listeners are invited to suggest music for this special farewell Carter playlist, which could include tracks by their early 90s indie peers, fellow witty musical wordsmiths, artists they've been influenced by or in turn have influenced, collaborators or any other interesting musical connection.
Send suggestions and comments via the hashtag #Carter6Music on Twitter as well as through the 6 Music and Now Playing Facebook pages, dragging tracks on the show's collaborative playlists on Spotify and Rdio, or the other usual live show contact methods.
