I don't know who the organiser is but from what I can tell they've hired the venue and booked a DJ in which case I would expect some sort of charge. If that's not the case then I'm happy to be corrected. The idea of having an opportunity for TCC members to meet after the gig and before travelling home appeals to me and I'm not aware of any alternative suggestions at this point, so it gets my vote. Understand your view but will you be appearing at the pre-gig?
Thanks to GOD and Maz I am all in... And better half included :-) Honestly, since this story with RAH started, and especially since last night, word "community" is lashing me here around the forum like never since last March! :-)Thank you one more time!

Many "establishments" with late licenses charge admission, a quick look in the Kensington area shows the cheapest admission fee is £10, so paying a fiver is not so bad. I also understand your reasons, I also have lost friends to "C" and know people fighting "C", I don't think they are profiteering, they need to pay DJ charges plus other fees, by charging £5 they won't be making much of a profit, if any. Anyway, I still have a spare Saturday ticket for the aftershow, I'll glue it to your head then you have no choice but to go.

The organiser is Flag Promotions, who put on the majority of 'goth' gigs in London (big names aside). So at least we are guaranteed some decent DJs, unlike other Cure nights I have been to *ahem*. I think £5 is very reasonable and well done to Mr Flag for having organised this!
No - she's already being amazing - is driving me all the way there from the midlands and letting me stay at her mate's, then bringing me back - all on the weekend she's meant to be moving house! She's a keeper
