Unfortunately I didn't manage to get Royal Albert Hall tickets! I was on holiday in the US when they went on sale - I got up at 4.30am and tried to get some on my iphone, but no luck! Came very close...literally got to the final 'card verification' screen with some in my basket but the site (gigsandtours) said the session had expired! Heartbreaking.
So, I'm searching for anyone out there who has 2 tickets to sell (either night, no preference)... seat wise I'd prefer choir or circle ideally, but understand I may have to just accept what I can get!

I'm after TWO tickets to Sat 29 March - standing preferred but ok with seating.
Sadly I missed the presale coz I was flying to my holiday destination! Funny they should announce a tour just at that moment because I have been checking another well known blog almost daily for years and this happens! LOL
Hi - Just called the RAH and they said they expect to have some returns but not until early next month and only for 28th March '14 as the 29th March is a 'private' event which means there will be no retruns from members. Sat

I wonder why they said that about the 29th? Why a private event? Do they mean because they didn't release tickets for sale themselves?

Hi - Exactly, the RAH didnt release the tickets for 29th they were issued via the promoter so they told me there would be no returns to RAH.

The Albert Hall has seats that are privately owned by individuals. These are the debentures, if they dont want their tickets for a normal event then they are treated as returns - i think this only applies to public not private events though.
Hi All. I called gigs and tours to hear about the cancellation. The lady was VERY nice. she told me that if I could give her another adress to sent the "extra" tickets to, I could avoid the cancellation! So people who have over-limit tickets. try to call them!
Also I asked when they thought they would dispatch the tickets, and she said within the next few days.
