I used to live there, in Mortlake, there was this lil river at the end of our street which prevented water shortages, hmmm what was it called - you know, that tiny lil river the boat race takes part on, ended at Mortlake Bridge right by my old house, ah!! The Thames, that's the one.
Yep have been to the Wetlands many a time, every year we had to shoot "boat race idiots" climbing onto our balcony, they make a big splash when hitting the water.
Hmmm we were almost neighbours! Our place was just before Mortlake Bridge, no doubt you cycle/amble up and down that muddy track along the riverside?? I almost ended up in the Thames attempting to stagger home drunk in the dark down that trail lol

It's a dump! There is a White Hart Lane in Putney as well as in Tottenham, ridiculous - I'm sure it was put there just to annoy me!! Have had some great times at White Hart Lane though, the 2-2 draw that won us the league - Tottenham fans celebrated the fact they managed to draw with us, they seemed to forget we had just won the league on their ground!!
I need to find myself a new best friend! Her parents came over with food & champagne yesterday, her Dad yelling "Hormona's here??!!! Yay, how's life in the wild wild West? When are you moving back here? I brought champagne!" I was pretty much deaf afterwards, his hearing aid doesn't seem to work properly, ahem... Then we went for a walk in the town and he kept on yelling things like "Hormona, look, there's new shopping mall, you culd go play there with clothes and stuff later on!" or "Hormona, look, lotsa guys over there!" Oh well...
