erm not to me it doesn't if you took Roberts voice off or had someone else singing it it sounds nothing like them to me . all those trumpets, brush drums and what sounds to me like backwards jazz accordions?? sorry.
A lot of them are very new to me. Gone for example was the first time I'd ever heard it earilier this evening... and remember with discovering fans some will always be new to them..unless you own every recording. video and every gig ever,, like most dont there will always be new discoveries, differences in versions and new things to notice even after many years.

That's fair enough if its new to you, but it was the context in which it was used in the discussion I'm questioning. The Crow was 1994, Gone was 1996. So they weren't created that far apart and aren't new material, even if Gone is new to your ears.
I'm not that keen on Gone personally. I'd pick Burn over that any day!
I'm no fan of either, I'd burn Gone, and make sure Burn was gone permanently .......
Very good GOD! I have to say I'm not massively into Burn, although it was quite easily the best thing about The Crow, which is a total pile of pants in my opinion. Sorry Crow fans! Ugh, it gives me terrible flashbacks to about 15 years ago when every goth club had an obligatory nerdy young kid in a Marilyn Manson t-shirt and Crow makeup
