"too many colours distracts the spectator" said Jacques Tati, it was also the moto of the really great 'Les Inrockuptibles' french rock magazine in the early 90's, in which all the pics were b&w. Since then the magazine is in colour and of course the feeling is different. A colour pic is usually naturally warmer and more vibrant. However, anyway, b&w or colour, if the subject is uninteresting and frame is wrong, the photo will be bad. You both look great.
I personally favour b&w as IMO it minimizes flaws. I’m only wearing mascara in the photo, so I think the b&w photo improves the look of my skin, eyes etc. That said, I truly appreciate all the lovely /kind feedback I’m getting, and I’m truly feeling humble. Thank you. 🙏
