I was surprised Bergkamp wasn't offered a similar job at Arsenal when his career ended. he and Overmars are doing really well at Ajax.

He wanted a job at Arsenal, he made that clear ..... Henry will be coaching at Arsenal when he retires, I'd prefer Bergkamp, I'd also prefer Adams to Bould.
Yes I've seen him play for Russia, Wenger is a great manager but he does get things wrong! We haven't been the same since David Dein left - at every Board Meeting the fans call for the reinstatement of Dein, or somebody similar to help Wenger out, Wenger does too much - he should be left to manage/coach the team and leave transfer deals and negotiations to anybody else. We have the "Richest Man" in Britain/Russia on our board, he says he will fund any big transfers ...... still can't see Wenger spending big though.
you noticed Arshavin was good when he played in Russia? Wenger is a great coach but a bad manager and it does not have the concept of transfer, I was always disappointed by his choice, except for Podolski Tell me , if Arsenal, the last season had not qualified for the Champions League Wenger have left the club? And Dein it was him who brought Wenger at Arsenal...
Yes David Dein convinced Wenger to join Arsenal, Wenger hasn't done so badly in the transfer market - look how cheaply he bought players such as Anelka, Henry, Pires, Vieira, Petit etc for, he is good at spotting young talent - it's just spending money where he suffers.
