How far in does that nail go?(I've carefully placed a Curly Wurly so you get an appreciation of the scale, but Curly Wurlys aren't as big as they used to be so I guess it's not relevant (they call it shrinkflation but they're not fooling me!) Should I pull it out? How long has it been there?
I've got 20 miles to go & it's a Sunday. Maybe if I use the Curly Wurly as a sacrificial offering to the tyre gods I'll get home safely?
The Fruitella is intriguing because we don’t have it here (although there is an amazing Welsh-owned indie candy shop near us, I’ve never seen those). I’m typically a chocolate person, not so much on the fruity tip.

Oh, no!!!!! I don’t have any idea about CW’s and their shrinkflation.
Have a spare? If so, pull it out? If not, leave on and grab a new one on your way OOT. I would kind of doubt you can save the tire, but no experience with this.

It's not a nail. It's phillips head screw. I would leave it there & either stick the spare on or get yourself to the nearest open place to have it changed or repaired. If you pull it out (which will be difficult, as it's a screw) the tyre will go flat a lot faster.

Any recommendations for good coffee in London (East-ish) that is NOT Starbucks (I refuse to patronize them b/c they are union busters)? Independent shops favored…

London has a few airports from which you can fly to Italy... 😁
