What is the best way to keep cats out of your garden?
They don't like citrus oil so orange/ lemon/ lime peel scattered about might help if you place it areas they're going to. People say that chilli flakes and chilli powder also works but that could harm not just cats but foxes, hedgehogs etc. But, in all honesty, cats will go wherever they damn well please. If you really want to do away with them you will need to set up motion detector spray things that will spray them with water and spook them. They'll eventually get the message. Maybe

I'll have to try citrus... I've already read that they don't like the smell of coffee. I love most animals, but not cats.

CW why people need to do a month's grocery shopping the day before a one day national holiday?
lol Because of the FEAR that they might run out of crisps and alcohol. Sad really.
All kidding aside, here in the US people go crazy before any kind of holiday. There's a super buy-in-bulk store called Costco where folks go and act like it's armageddon and Black Friday all rolled into one. Thankfully they don't sell guns or ammunition there.

they just go to Walmart for the weaponry.
I bought a wok in Walmart for five bucks and I still have it and use it a lot. Best wok I've ever had. 😁
