Ever see something you wish you didn’t see? Well, that was my experience last night, and I was up all night because of it.
A scorpion climbed in my bed while in Mexico, in the middle of the night. We were sleeping in a cabin, in the middle of a selvatic area. A cat meaow woke me up and I saw the scorpion next to my right foot. I jumped out of bed, grabbed a huge book and threw it on top of the scorpion. We couldn’t sleep for the rest of the night. Next morning I removed the book and the scorpion was still alive, the mattress saved his life. We packed and left the place.

Wow! I’m sorry that happened to you, but man is that ever a good story to share with others! You’ll be telling that beauty to your grandkids (should you have them) one day.

Scorpions are scary AF!!!! I count on my cat to protect me from roaches and silverfish. Cats are tapped-in to energy.
I had to look up selvatic.
Once when visiting my grandparents' house in Northern New Mexico we came home at night, flipped on the lights, and saw a centipede crawl into the wall's baseboard to flee. Didn't sleep so well that night. How do you kill something in the wall?

Hmmm, I hope it was only mildly gross or funny, and not something serious...
Unfortunately, it wasn’t something lighthearted. I was actually up all night spinning my wheels about it. Ugh. On a positive note though, I’m so flippin tired right now, that I don’t think I’ll have any issues falling asleep tonight!
Presently, wondering why I spent so much effort listing what studio albums I have on Discogs. I should imagine I will streamline my collection. I've got albums that never get played - so why even have them? Maybe use the money to buy new albums or upgrade my sound system

I'm sorry to hear that. That's terrible. I hope you get some good rest tonight.

I did that (sell records I don’t play or I don’t need and buy new ones) and I’m extremely happy.
