Chicken with wild/brown rice. Took forever, but sooooo good. Falling off the bone. Took the picture after half the chicken had already been removed. It is a New York Times recipe that comes from a recipe developed in prison.
I'm actually allergic to rice (which is totally weird, not a lot of rice in northern Europe) but that looks pretty good. I'd give it a try, being careful about the amount of rice ingested.

Looks delicious. I'm hungry now and it's the middle of the night here!
But I don't see And I don't feel But tightly hold up silently My hands before my fading eyes And in my eyes Your smile
I mistook stars reflected in a pond at night for those in the sky.
I bought today fantastic pierogis with mushrooms and a bit of mascarpone, onion and chives. With butter and roast onion it was a very fine dish. I'm too poor cook to make something like that by myself, too lazy, too. But I have close to home a truck food whose owner is a pierogis freak. What she makes is simply heavenly.

Those are beautiful and sound delicious. I would never attempt to make pierogis. Making any type of pasta or dumpling would give me a wicked headache!

Those look fantastic. I’m salivating over here for reals.
My grandmother made the most delicious pierogis…mmm food memories.
Yesterday's brunner (I usually can only really eat once a day). Ribs, smoked potato, spicy BBQ beans & fresh yesterday baguette. There was also a bit of slaw involved that I ate earlier. Sauce = sweet & spicy. Years of research have gone into this becoming the preferred nourishment for football Sunday. I only usually eat like this once a week. It was quite good!
