It was only 31°C and the forecast has changed, no more 35°C on Sunday. I thought that The Cure from Japan in such a heat in the daylight that could be too much
Prayer For Rain are more than needed though. That is a Polish biggest river Wisła (Vistula) in these days:

The temperature crept past 30°C here today and our AC at work is only partly working which means it gets as hot inside as outside, if not hotter. Let me tell you, working retail in the heat is no fun.

Oslo had a pretty sudden case a thunder storm last night! As far as I can tell it came out of nowhere as it wasn't on any forecast that I've seen. I went to bed rather early because I was tired and I was woken up by freakishly loud thunder just after midnight which continued until around one in the morning and then the heavens just opened. It was like someone had left the tap running... Woke up this morning to find out that Oslo had had between 20mm and 30mm of rain in an hour! And as for the thunder, eastern Norway apparently had nearly 1800 registered cases of lightning, most of which took place just after midnight

It has been a really mild winter where I live this season with only some snow, but today... There's about 25-30cm of snow! (And it hasn't stopped snowing yet!)
(sidenote: I generally like birds but that bird that decided to sit down on a branch right above me as I was shovelling snow so that all the snow on that branch fell over me... )

I have been thinking about snow a lot. We haven't gotten any to speak of this year or last. Snow is one of the few things that makes the dismal winter bearable where I am. Now it's just five months or so of grey sky, sticks on trunks, and grey buildings all winter. And rain.
