Just thought I’d add to the synth saga
Cure in Orange era
Porl Jx8p plus Mirage
Lol DX7 ( I own his DX cartridge’s now) and Mirage
Kiss Me era
Lol DX7 TX7 Oberheim DPX-1 x 2 it loads Ell/Prophet and Mirage disks. Roland MKS80 and Roland Dep 5 effects
Roger Jx8p Oberheim DPX-1 x 2 plus Roland MKS20 and Mirage
Prayer Tour
Roger Jx8p Yamaha kx88 controller midi’d to 3 DPX-1s ( Korg M1 live only after Korg gave one to Roger during the tour)
Wish Roland D70’s x 2. Probably still using DPX-1s for older sounds
Mood Swings
Emulator Vl ( Roger rack Perry Keyboard ) Emu proteus Ultra Kurzweil pc88 controller Roland XP50.
Bloodflowers same as above…
Lost touch after Bloodflowers
2011 onwards Kurzweil PC3k linked to Mac minis running Mainstage. The Macs are capable of running all the older sounds in EXS sampler format after we converted the Emulator Vl files via software. The Yamaha Motif XF is used for some sounds but is also linked to Mainstage.

I now own The Cure’s Emulator Vl rack that was used for Mood Swings Bloodflowers and the Trilogy Dvd. It’s awesome! I also have Lol’s DX7 cartridges plus some Mirage and DPX-1 disks from the Kiss Me your. Disks for Lol and Roger…
