I absolutely love Primary and Let's go to bed. They're my alltime favorites, and then WCIBY and The end of the world go in second place. Mint car receives a special mention
I don't think I make use of all this time. Oh kill me kiss me once, and then we'll throw it away.
Tim Pope's videos are the best. But amongst them it's hard for me to choose. the ones from Picture show were first (not counting Friday I/m in love) that I ever saw and in my head most of the videos are acompanied by memories of the backstage/behind the scene footage from that compilation. It adds some extra dimentions to the videos themselves So in no perticular order The Cure promo videos which I love the most are: Why Cant I Be You - for it makes me laugh every time I see Lol "The Bee" and beautiful chareography The Caterpillar - for the shaking piano and buterflies and strange look in Bob's eyes Friday I'm In Love - for it's holiday feel Lullaby - for it's creepy atmosphere and spiderwebs and real spiderman
I'm trapped in my face
and I'm changing too much.
I can't climb out the way I fell in.
I really like 10:15, here you can see the band in their early days... I also like the Hanging garden. Even if it can look very cheap today, I think it fits the mood of the song and I love when they take off their masks... I like most of Tim Pope's videos for The Cure. To me, he's the one who worked the most for the image of The Cure in the mid 80's.

This is another question that makes me go mad, together with things like "what is your favourite Cure album/song?" It depends, sometimes it's Catch (the location and the sunny weather are magical for me), sometimes Just Like Heaven (a lot of bittersweet memories), sometimes it's The End Of The World and sometimes Pictures Of You (the bit where Robert talks in the camera oh my god!! *melts* such a dreamy video)... but again, putting aside all the other videos makes me feel so guilty! Especially the Tim Pope's one, because in the end I adore every single video made by him. And I also love I Want To Be A Tree (yeah I know it doesn't fit in the thread but I wanted to say it anyway! AH)
At the moment, I want to see the Close To Me remix video, so...

I always say Jumping Someone Else's Train, cos it's complex in it's simplicity. But, now that I think about it, Why Can't I Be You? is also a good one. I remember dancing along with it when I was young. Dancing like that is a real work out. Jane Fonda has NOTHING on The Cure when it comes to cardio!

I have a few favourite Cure videos.
Let's Go To Bed, The Lovecats, Mint Car as they are quite funny videos and put a smile on my face and poor Lol in Let's Go To Bed makes me chuckle.
Charlotte Sometimes because it's such a gaudy gothic clip filmed in a beautiful building.
The Caterpillar, Catch and Pictures Of You as the scenery, weather and band members look extraordinary
Just Like Heaven and Friday I'm in Love as they are both such bright, and lovely videos. (I also think it is wonderful that Mary dancing with Robert in Just Like Heaven).
Then there is Lullaby, Close To Me and The End Of The World because they are filmed beautifully
The Caterpillar is pretty fine for me and my No. 1 now. And Love Cats for it is my first Cure-video. Love The Hanging Garden and Charlotte Sometimes. Perhaps they are cheap and pathetic today, and Robert was not in love with them instantly, but I can imagine that they managed to set some standards in 1981 and 1982. Lullaby is masterpiece! And love Pictures of You because of bear waling around.
