Bit annoying but it suits the whole mess of an album!
Spotify really need to sort Bloodflowers though.
I've been listening to this record a lot in the past few weeks, and overall, I like it. There are some songs that I think are forgettable, but these are outnumbered by the songs I enjoy.
Initially I was extremely disappointed in the record. I loved some of the songs immediately but overall thought it was a weak record made so by the band's association with Ross Robinson and the way they all approached the album.
Out of the 17 songs released in the different versions and singles, the only ones I skip are
The End of the World (I Don't Know What's Going) On This Morning - only due to that naff spoken word bit in the middle. I just can't do it. Sorry Robert.
So, for me that's a 14 track album of songs I rate as "Great" at best, and "Good" at worst.
admin I think we need spot to discuss each album - the Lyrics section doesn't cut it. Can someone review my request for an "Album Discussion" sub-forum pls? thx
If you have a lead on Brisbane 21 August 1992 - CT version, for the love of Bob, let me know. Please!
