60 years young & still going strong. Thankyou for all the amazing moments you've given us over the years & that you still keep giving us. You've certainly helped this old goth (& I daresay many others) through some tough life episodes & made them a whole lot more bearable. Here's hoping you raise a glass tonight & that you enjoy your day & many more to come. Now, get ready. You're going to have to blow a few candles out later
Happy 60th birthday Robert... Dedicated two songs to you already and yet you deserve so many more...You're an eternal inspiration.
I even made my friends wish him happy birthday via telepathy... No it ain't Easter right now. Looking for recordings, lipsticks and songs right now - not eggs - because ITS ROBERT SMITH DAY

Happy birthday, you wonderful man. Last year I wasn't in the right mood, because my beloved grandma had passed away right on this day the year before. I wasn't sure I'd ever been able to celebrate again, but 60 is an important milestone, and every day your music keeps making my life so much better... even in my darkest moments, The Cure and what they represent made me feel less lonely, and less worthless. Seeing people all over the internet sharing the same exact thoughts of love and gratitude I feel deep in my heart fills me up with joy, just as we were all in the same place, having a massive birthday party. I wish you all the positive things this life will ever be able to offer to a human being.
PS today I've found this pic, I think this was one of my first posts on Tumblr, back in 2012. I don't use polymer clay anymore, but I wanted to share it here because it marks the moment when I first understood that I could make something beautiful with my useless self. I still remember all the effort it took to attach each curl on Betty’s hair, each lash, and the time it took to reach the perfect shape for the guitar… Incredibly enough, I was so proud of myself when I finished it. I planned to give it to Robert when one day I would’ve finally been able to meet him. Ah… how naive I was! In the end I’ve just kept it for myself, as a sweet memory. Once more, I owe everything to The Cure.

Happy 60th birthday, Robert !!!!
May your day be as great as you make us feel with your songs and your kind personality since so long, because without you it certainly would never have been the same.
Thank you for everything, really. And here's to many more birthdays and others good things to celebrate for you !
