Congrats to Mav787 for an impressive final of season, but also congrats to Nikolas Vitus Lagartija as he has been a solid leader the whole year.

Anyway, I have had a lot of fun with the FL. Hope you will admit me next season again in the EIB team.

& so the 2016/17 season draws to a close on a weekend that threw up no less than 37 goals.
Along with that, there was nail biting aplenty as the battle for the top 4 spots reached its climax.
Citeh came out of the traps the fastest with Arsenal hot on their heels as Liverpool squandered chance after chance against relegated Middlesbrough.
As Sanchez & Aguero kept the noise level at Anfield down to a worried whisper, Liverpool looked on course to lose the crucial last Champion’s League spot.
But a late first half goal from Georginio Wijnaldum gave the reds, in their new, even redder home strip, the advantage.
& while Citeh gleefully banged 5 past Watford & Arsenal, despite being one man down, saw off Everton, Liverpool added 2 more to claim that lucrative 4th place as the Europa league extended a welcome to Arsenal for the first time.
Much had been made of JoMo’s decision to field his youngest team ever, but the kids pulled off an easy win over Palace after which, JoMo gave the best post match press conference ever.
Spurs decided to end the season with a bang as they took Hull to the cleaners by 7 (seven) goals to 1 (one), earning Kane, with his 4th hat trick of the year, the golden boot for the second year on the trot.
Elsewhere, West Ham cam from behind to win at Turf Moore, Leicester’s pitch proved to be the hi-light in a dull draw, Stoke’s big fella, Crouch, beat the Saint’s big fella, Forster & Swansea ended the term with a win against the Baggies.
With the title already in the bag, there was a party atmosphere at Stamford Bridge as Captain Racist Leader Marriage Wrecker Legend John Terry led out his troops for the final time.
Sunderland threatened to put a dampener on things, taking the lead after just 3 minutes, but the blues came roaring back to maul the Black Cats 5-1. The aforementioned skipper was subbed off after 26 minutes which was totally not set up & pantomime-like at all. No sirree.

I’ll do the H2H summary first for a very good reason
It was The Mission camp once again with a 1 point margin giving the BB&S the final week,  but the late surge was not enough to deny the EIB the overall victory by 27 points. 
The , however, stayed with Nikolas Vitus Lagartija’s Damage Dunfermline who had done well to hold on to it for virtually the whole season.

Equally as nail bitingas the race for top 4 was the FPL classic league, as a real-life “tortoise & hare” story unfolded between the top 2
But, after taking a 5 point advantage last week, Mav787’s Bullets & Bayonets not only take the  
But, with a huge 103 points, secure the last of the term.
But, with a GW win of 17 points, handing them an overall victory of 462 points, the EIB, after stumbling in the previous 2 seasons take the top spot on the third attempt 


So, without further ado, presenting the trophy to the winning team is the first stranger we saw walking his dog past the shed this morning…….
