I think a lot of us probably have The Cure songs or even albums that evoke specific memories. Let's share some moments, feelings, experiences that Cure songs make us think of here.
I know I write a lot about Disintegration, but why not share some more
Throughout college I worked at an ice cream shop and my boss always let us play whatever we wanted. One of my favorite albums to put on was Disintegration for my evening shifts. Did I mention that this ice cream shop was in the sorority house area of campus and the clientele was 80% preppy blonde sorority girls? My friend who worked the shift before me usually played PJ Harvey, and I would follow up with The Cure. Needless to say, we were not into the Greek scene. To this day, I still smile to myself thinking of my moody evenings in a sugary scented shop, and chopping buckets and buckets of strawberries to Fascination Street. Odd, but that's what I think of
