I remember reading "CureNews" in mid 90's (you know: that was all the "real" info on that days)... In some 96 / 97 / 98 issue, it was that info about Wayne Hussey joining onstage with The Cure. I google this info today: he played twice:
11.08.1996 Inglewood - Great Western Forum (USA/CA)
28.10.1997 Los Angeles - American Legion Hall (USA/CA)
The thing is: Could anybody (who has any recording of this 1996 gig) confirm if Wayne sang or not in A Forest?
Lost in a forest, all over this wasteland The girl was never there, Severina, she believes in angels It's always the same, stay with lay with me ...........
WaynE Hussey is playing "An Night Like This" during this actual solo tour...
On some shows, sadly he didn't when I'm Hamburg a couple of weeks ago.
He recorded "A night like this" on his solo album "Bare" a few years ago. He played in Buenos Aires in 2008, and he played "A night like this" on that gig

We could go on and on and on: Just remember those PRAYER TOUR gigs back in 1989, then Hussey dedicated THE MISH's "Evangeline" to Evie Gallup...the Bamonte bros were/are very close to him...
