Inter- Forum Premier League Fantasy Football.
TheCureCommunity Vs MyHeartland
TheCureCommunity Vs MyHeartland
A first in fan forum history is fast approaching & you could be a part of this.
The Sisters Of Mercy fan forum, MyHeartland are keen on challenging TheCureCommunity to a season of fantasy football based on the English Premier League season.
The premise will be that participants will be in charge of their own FF teams & participate in a special league.
There will be players from TheCureCommunity & players from MyHeartland.
The end of season result will rest on the cumulative amount of points scored by each respective forum.
In the event of one forum having more players than the other, point count will be weighted accordingly to ensure a level playing field.
This means that you don’t need to have any more than a passing knowledge of the beautiful game to take part. It’s more about having fun & a little bit of friendly rivalry with another great bunch of music fans.
There will be a dedicated FF thread on each site & should members wish to join either forum, they will be welcomed with open arms to join in the banter that this will inevitably generate.
However, this isn’t obligatory & the threads will be visible to guests as well as members, so it’s your call.
So here is the call to arms (or keyboards). Those of you who fancy taking on the Industrial Groove Machine, post your willingness here, declare your allegiance to Team WMS (or whatever floats your The Cure boat) & I’ll compile a list of participants. We’re looking to get 11 a side (like real footy).
The site we have decided to use is the official Official Fantasy Premier League site.
Players will need to register an account on the premier league site to take part, but it's free & we'll have our own league to sign into, so keep an eye out here for login details.
Let's have some fun & anyone who just wants to watch, get those scarves out & get behind your team.
For twitter followers of both @heartlandforum & @curecommunity the hashtag #sistersvsthecure is the one to watch.
Thanks to Johnny Rev 7.0 at MyHeartland for accepting the challenge.
