Went to his 75 birthday show at RAH back in 2003, 80 piece orchestra with a 40 strong choir. Was amazing!
Blimey! I didn't even realise he was still alive. Scored some of my favourite films
Was still writing, recording and touring. And being very exacting to work with by all accounts! Was only the only composer working in Hollywood who had influence over directorial decisions, apparently.

I don't listen to a real lot of film music per se but do listen to his work. The Good, the Bad & the Ugly is iconic (go to see Metallica & you will hear evidence of that). Did some nice work for Tarantino, too. RIP
Crumbs yeah. From when Mythbusters was still quite watchable. I'll never forget him having his head covered in massive spiders that he was terrified of.
That was so out of the blue Mythbusters was prime bonding TV for me and my dad when I was in my early teens and we both always though Grant was the coolest of the build team
On a personal note, two years ago today, after battling a very very short illness (2 weeks),my father passed away. So now, I’m raising a glass of his favourite, Molson, in his memory. I still miss him a lot.

Sorry to hear that. Bit early even for me to start drinking so I'll raise one later

My coffee mug is raised to your dad, Danielle. I'm so sorry he is gone. Wishing you the comfort of his presence today.
