RIP Bucky Baxter, great pedal steel player for Bob Dylan, Steve Earle, countless others. I knew him a little back in the day & he actually crashed on my couch once when he was on tour with Ricky Skaggs. A cool guy & fine musician. He will be missed.
Absolute legend. If you liked the Nolan Batman's then you've enjoyed Denny's Batman.
You are absolutely right... Denny is a legend! I read pretty much all of his Marvel work back in the day... including his Iron Man run. Brilliant. He created Obadiah Stane/Iron Monger, among others. I interviewed him on multiple occasions years ago when I was doing some freelance work for Back Issue magazine. What a gentleman! He will be missed!

I'd completely forgotten Denny picked up the story after the Stark/booze arc. Worked on Frank Miller's Daredevil too!
Amazing to actually get to interview him - any of your stuff available to read online?

Unfortunately, nothing that is readily available (i.e., free) online from my comic related writing and/or editing. Back Issue in particular still thrives as a physical magazine. I talked with Denny specifically about the Miller DD run for a piece on Elektra in their "Dead Heroes" issue.
