Waiting for the cops to show up. On our way home from the playground I saw a man diddling himself in his car, around where a million kids are. He’s still in there and I hope he sees me talking to the cops when they show up so he knows I’m responsible. It’s a good thing he hasn’t gotten out of his car because I want to kick his a$$.

Since I waited for the cops to show up for 30 minutes and didn't have any more time to waste, I ended up screaming at the guy to keep it in his pants around kids as he still sat in his car by the playground. His friend had showed up and started talking to him so I felt like having some more people around would be a buffer, in a way, as well as alerting more people to the fact he's a pervert. His friend tried to blame it on the fact the guy uses a wheelchair and can't hold his pee. I had a close friend in my 20's who was paraplegic, and at no time did he ever whip out his junk in front of kids while reclined in his car.
The cops here suck so much. Almost 90 minutes after I originally called them they called me back while I was in the grocery store. I told them what happened and they said they would call me back if they "needed to." I rushed home, but they pulled away just as I turned the corner on our block. I tried to wave them down but they kept going.
Debating whether or not I should renew my lease next spring. Should things continue the way they are (ie - covid rages on and I continue to work from home) I may as well pack up at move somewhere less expensive. I mean the primary reason I moved here was due to work and should I continue to work from home it really doesn’t make such sense to spend all this extra cash on an apartment located in a pricey district near the CBD. Blast!
I guess being mildly inconvenienced isn't worth upsetting the status quo. Of course not voting won't slow down the complaining if things don't go well. That goes for both sides. Not bragging but I voted last week. I don't think I've missed a vote in 40 years despite the nagging feeling that the whole thing is rigged anyway.
Sadly, not voting, which I thought I would be. The line is 4-5 hours long, wrapped twice around the block. Never seen nothin’ like it.
This enrages me. Voting should not be this difficult. Hang in there, and please do vote (if not today, sometime over the next seven days)!
Of course! I just have to make sure I use the restroom and don't hydrate too much beforehand. Even in the best of circumstances there is nowhere to relieve yourself in NYC. Nobody's bathrooms are open (except Barnes and Noble!).
Are lines longer than normal due to enhanced Covid-related procedures ?
Uncertain...
My next door neighbors went to vote in person today. Figured there wouldn't be too crazy of a line since it's pouring here in Northeast Ohio. Ended up taking them an hour and 10 minutes start to finish. The line was long, but they said it was efficient.

Yeah, I was talking to my favorite barista who works near the early polling site that was so busy. He was really mad because the web site said voting would open at 10:00 a.m. but when he got there at 9:30 he was told it didn’t open until noon.

Er...I’ve never waited for more than about 15 minutes to vote! It’s discouraging to hear the long waits my neighbours to the south have to contend with just to cast their votes! Boo I say, boo.
Making homemade pizza which I will chow down on while I watch the original Halloween tonight! My dough is taking a lonnnng time to rise though, so I’m thinking I’ve done something wrong .hmm
