I'm simultaneously understanding of, appreciative of, and annoyed by the repetitive samey-samey pop encore #2.
I get that non-mega-mental-hardcore fans wanna hear all the singles.
The songs themselves are great, listen to them in the context of their respective albums (yep, even The Walk off not-an-album-Japanese Whispers lol) to truly appreciate their beauty.
But I'm sick of hearing the same batch of songs each show - that I'm lucky enough to experience thru the magic of the internet, the generosity of streamers, and tapers.
I'm not really sick of them, I'm just being a (Boys Don't) Cry-baby.
Boys Don't Cry is such a ferking superb song, I never tire of hearing it. The studio versions are such perfectly crafted, and more importantly, CAPTURED songs, the mix on that 86 version is just perfection..... so I'll shush now...
