This evening’s debate : is there really any difference between the quality of taste between a craft beer and a non-craft beer ?
As someone who drank her share of OE through a straw in college and who now likes beer that tastes good, I agree with weedyburton79 . Granted, OE is actually malt liquor...
OEs were regularly drank throughout high school since none us had the money for the pricey stuff. I actually got to the point where I started liking it too! I guess that early exposure explains a few things.. 🤪

Oh, i wouldn't say I ever *enjoyed* them. But I was a poor, 17-yo, very naive college student.

Ha ha! And best of all it did the trick on such a wee investment!
I can't help but have a sinking feeling our city is headed straight back in time to the 1980's.
Gang activity has totally spiraled and shootings have increased by 60% this year. We have very tight gun laws in our state, so considered from a population standpoint, we've been very safe in terms of gun violence for a long time. There was a semi-automatic-weapon-unloading (don't think anyone was hit) in front of our building about two months ago and now there are lots of slow-roll-bys and increased tagging because of the building on our corner and the nearby park. It reminds me also of living in DC in the 90's, then known as the "Nation's Cr@pitol."
With astronomic unemployment, large numbers of evictions predicted, public transportation in disarray, the police refusing to police because their feelings are hurt, a mayor everyone loves to hate, public education in shambles, times are ripe for a trip to toilet city. On the plus side, bet there will be lots of great art!
The dog has completely taken charge of my bed. Or wait wait “our” bed ! 🙃
I just saw an article (on-the-internet-so-it-must-be-true) espousing women who sleep with dogs sleep better. I told Mr. K that must be why I don't sleep as well when he's traveling (not true).
Dear 20-something guy behind the meat / fish counter: when you call me "young lady" it makes me want to punch you in the face. Would you say that to a guy who is almost 50?

I wonder if people think they’re being cute/flattering when they make those kind of comments.

I think some do. I think others do it to belittle people. It's so obnoxious. I can't tolerate that cr@p. Have some respect. Why not just say, "May I help you" rather than, "Can I help you, young lady?"
