They're going to have to have this tour & planning all sewn up quickly. Otherwise it's likely to get frighteningly expensive for them. Imagine the number of people in the crew & so on that will need these visas. Not to mention the support band & their entourage.
I like the idea of a fall tour because of weather. And travel costs. And fewer festivals. But I'll go any time. Really just need some more live shows. And I want to hear more new songs from the imminent but perpetually unfinished album.
Hope they can afford a N American tour with all the Brexit and Visa nonsense, and that we can afford the tickets with all the ticketmaster nonsense. Imminently crossing fingers!!!
It would be so perfect if you would just fall out the window
Hope... that we can afford the tickets with all the ticketmaster nonsense. Imminently crossing fingers!!!
This exactly. I am going to have ticket anxiety. It's not that I covet floor tickets (in MSG I actually don't care for the floor, at least not where I've been). It's just that I feel like I don't understand how any of this carp works anymore and it will be like a feeding frenzy. I almost feel like letting the chips fall when they first go on sale and then checking back.
It's too early to be thinking about all that, yet here we are.

There was a recent article about the crew/ stage management/ promoters and it stated that Robert had a hand in everything, even down to the ticket pricing. So chances are the prices will not be too eye-watering.
Fair few people saying the announcement is tomorrow. The other rumour is that it starts in May which sounds awfully close to the sale. I'd have thought it would be summer at the earliest. Maybe also to give them time to finish the album, haha.
Amen to all of that. Want to do the New Orleans and Texan dates if the run is similar and, not knowing the weather there, but I'd imagine it would be quite brutal for Irish skin.
The article about Robert overseeing the prices for each show on the European tour gives me hope we won't be rinsed on the tickets.

No way is it starting in May. Rumors are bad and dumb.

Mea culpa! Looks who’s eating her own words. Tasty.

Honestly, I was right there with you until I heard that the Cleveland show was in early June. There must've been delays in the announcement itself, because anymore a major tour seems to give at least a six month lead time. Regardless, good news all around!
