As much as I love them, everything pre-Bossa is completely played out for me now. I would rather hear a pure Bossa/Trompe show or even a 100% Pixies 2.0 setlist rather than get the inevitable Doolittle-heavy set they always play.

that would be amazing. Bossanova in full. slight intermission. Trompe in full. Nothing left in life to see!

I have tickets for the Pixies show on 12 Jun. Which will be the day after The Cure's show in Cleveland, assuming I can score tickets. I haven't bought tickets for the Pixies' show on 13 Jun yet. Keeping it on my radar based on how things shake out with Cure shows. Could be a fun week, though!

The Paris show they streamed was fantastic! Excited to see them in June. At this point, I'm seeing Death Cab for Cutie on 04 Jun. A week later I'm seeing The Cure on 11 Jun in Cleveland, Pixies on 12 Jun in Columbus, and potentially seeing Pixies again on 13 Jun in Pittsburgh. Then the following week I'm seeing The Cure 20, 21, and 22 Jun in NYC. Jun is going to be fun!

Still some omissions I'd like to see and Joey was a bit low in the mix but pretty good for an album tour.
Our June is a little more low key but we still have Peter Gabriel, PSB and Muse. And then Pulp in early July so can't complain.
Well, they played everything from Doggerel except Sadducee last night. It doesn't all work 100% but they're still in great form.
Yes, here as well, almost the whole album. I wasn’t familiar yet with it (nor the crowd either) and they played almost in sequence in the middle chunk of the gig. It was quite a bummer, to be honest. Sound didn’t help, it wasn’t good at all. Worst Pixies gig I’ve had attended, sadly. Very good moments with the classics, but overall, average.

I don't think they've worked out how integrate the new stuff yet - it's very different to the rest of their stuff and Charles has a capo on for nearly all of it but I get the impression he doesn't like switching guitars often...
We got it in 2 blocks and it does kill the pace a bit. I've been listening to it since, it's still not as immediate as Eyrie but is starting to make sense.

Yeah, he didn’t change the guitar until half the gig or even later.
