i think he got fired during 2004/2005 along with Perry First time around (1990) he left alone. Might be wrong though. Anyway back to 'wish' thread
Yes!
Might they play the b'sides as well? Would be good.
Must be weird AF being in that band. Roger "left" in 90, Perry joined in 90, Roger rejoined in 94/95 with his replacement already in the band, then they both get fired at the end of 04/start of 05, then Roger rejoins the band in 2010, then Perry plays with them again in 22 with the guy he replaced in 90 and who joined after him in 94. Simon must just be watching the circus!
How strange and curious. I guess it's both good and bad that we'll never know what happened REALLY with all the outgoings and decisions made.
Back to our regularly scheduled programming, no way they'll do the b-sides or Tape. I bet you a beer...
Perry was in the band from the mid 80's as a roadie guitar/tech,before Roger joined in '87 to help Lol on stage with the keys. Who (Rog) was friends with Boris (Williams). I don't think that Simon has/had any problem with the...circus situation you mentioned. After all he has joined it in the early stages to replace the first bassist (Dempsey).Anyway, all good. The Cure is a friends & family matter, really. With a quick thought except Robert the only other member who played live with anyone else who has been involved in this band is/was Porl Thompson. He has never performed with Reeves at the same time. But he was with those members : Dempsey,Tolhurst,Gallup,Thornally,Bamonte,Williams,Anderson,Cooper,O'Donnell,Hartley. Did i forgot someone? As for the b'sides, most propably they won't get aired ,would have been good though. Especially "A Foolish Arrangement ",another one with great bass lines from Simon.

I don't see how people can keep up with all the listening, reading and typing at the same time on these things (I've only done one and I think it was on here a number of years back). It's hard enough to concentrate on one thing at a time, let alone 2-3 or more.
This begs a drinking game: Any time someone uses the phrases "new album" or "I love you Robert!" drink. Or take off an article of clothing, Or both. All will be drunk and naked within 3 minutes.
ETA: I think the listening party was actually a S&TB one on the old (not the current Amazon ad site) Dark Side University.

We'll be local time that night so maybe I can stay awake long enough to see how bizarre it will be.
Don't worry, if you fall asleep, I saw you can replay it the next day, or the one after.
Hopefully a kind soul here can capture it and we can listen in at our leisure.. bluewater, I'm talking specifically to you here old son. And me... I should be able to snag it once it's in replay mode.. I think..
If you have a lead on Brisbane 21 August 1992 - CT version, for the love of Bob, let me know. Please!

With all the official material played edited out there would be little left to share don't you think?
One good thing about music, when it hits you feel no pain So hit me with music, hit me with music

hmmm good point actually. if editable at all, it might be nonsensical part statements and cut words.

There's nothing to hear - you literally start playing your album at the right time and follow the hash tag on twitter. Bob should tweet in time, interspersed with the thousands of randoms tweeting "Love this one!" and "Play Argentina!" etc.
