No Haaland, no problem for FFP FC who opened the GW with a 0-1 win to end Leicester’s winning streak thanks to a Kevin The Brain laser free kick.
At the Liberty Stadium Spurs, having reached peak Spursyness by the 50th minute finally found 5th gear & somehow managed to turn a lost cause around to win in the 92nd minute 2-3 which takes them to 3rd spot in the table.
Brentford & Wolves played out a close game to draw 1-1 while Diego Costa thought headbutting Ben Mee would be fun earning himself a straight red for his efforts.
Potter’s return to his old club, the south coast scum, wasn’t a happy one with the seaweed, aided by two own goals, took Chlesea to the cleaners to the tune of 4-1.
Palace made it 3 home wins from 3 thanks do Edouard's solitary goal against Southampton and Bonesaw complete a 4-0 rout over Villa who look to be in free-fall mode currently.
Everton had to rely heavily on Pickford who is steadily shaking off the T Rex nickname to ensure a clean sheet & a point against Fulham &, wrapping up the day, Liverpool, having come back from a goal down against Leeds, courtesy of a truly clown shoes defending/ goalkeeping combo, managed to toss all 3 points away in the last minute of normal time.
In the first of 2 games on Sunday, Arsenal took all of 5 minutes to go in front but spent the rest of the first half slightly frustrated after losing Saka to injury early on.
The second half was a completely different animal though as Saka’s replacement, Nelson, managed to score not just 1 but 2 goals. Partey’s absolute pearler & Ødegaard's close range strike put the Gunners back on top of the pile 2 points ahead of FFP FC.
In the FPL, the EIB came through with a 718 point victory.
Benteke Fried Chicken holds on to the Yellow Jersey with the Big Shout Out going the way of altendalton ’s Deep Green Sea Utd with 89 points.
The IGM mopped up the H2H week on 21 points and Antarctic Thistle re-took the Crown.
Coming up for autumn now & the shed is looking in need of a lick of paint. I’m sure we’ll find the right colour here somewhere.
Other than that, it’s time to throw open the gates on the Stadium of Faith and welcome everyone to GW15
