Hopefully they won't consider the fact that a good percentage of the crowd in any big arena probably only knows the hits when constructing these setlists. I really mean that!

I don't think RS cares too much about what the fans want (not in a bad way). Otherwise, we would have a new album by now. They play exactly what they feel like playing which is just how it should be. At least you know that the songs you hear come from the right place.
~Underneath The Stars~ would have been so good to be an opener,me sayin' A brilliant choice i'd say. And then ''It's Over'' as a last song of the main set. Pretty sure they will perform 'The Figurehead' though, not as an opener but somewhere in the setlist.

I've just checked just out of pure Curiosity a setlist back from 1992
wish tour at the time European Leg
and more specific this one Halle Tony Garnier Lyon at Oct. 17th '92
which was as follows :
Tape Open High Pictures of You Lullaby Just Like Heaven Fascination Street One Hundred Years Trust Charlotte Sometimes The Walk Let's Go to Bed Friday I'm in Love In Between Days From the Edge of the Deep Green Sea Never Enough Cut End Encore : The Figurehead
Play for Today
Encore 2 :
Boys Don't Cry Dressing Up Lovesong Why Can't I Be You? Encore 3: In Your House A Forest Forever
What i have to say is this : i'd gladly welcome back a version (any) of FOREVER and that i'm pretty sure the setlist will be like this for mostly events, but less Disintegration tracks in it and more wish-era stuff. And of course less pop-hits once the set will be almost thirty minutes shorter than the usual 3 hours sets of the past 10 years live events.

But even if they don't feel like playing the most obvious hits on a given night they will though, right? Not saying it's good or bad either... it is what it is.

When I saw them play Forever to close the 4Tour at RCMH I thought I was imagining it. I was texting the live set that night & had to phone the moderator (Emy) who was updating the thread during the song as she didn't believe me. I remember CCC was having a competition to win a tour program for anyone who could guess the final song of the tour. Nobody won

I'm listening to A Forest > Forever now... Pretty damn sweet for a 4Cure performance...
If you have a lead on Brisbane 21 August 1992 - CT version, for the love of Bob, let me know. Please!

They didn't on the Bloodflowers tour. Admittedly, that was a while ago but I do believe that they actually enjoy playing the hits these days.
yes, I went to the Toronto show of the Bloodflowers tour with my wife (who is, at best, a casual fan) and she has always referenced that night as her "wanting to pull her ears off"
