I just read this really interesting piece in Teh Grauniad & thought it'd be interesting to see your collective opinions/ choice on that "skip intro" feature. Until recently the HBO streaming service here was HBOGO & didn't have the feature & I have to say that the theme to Succession was extraordinarily good. Now it's changed to Max, the feature's available &, although I use it more, I am tempted to give it a miss on new shows just to see what I'm missing How about you lot?
I do not skip. I do wish there was setting to keep the end credits full screen for the duration.
Quite a few streaming services I use have that feature, usually it's just hitting the credits screen that's flung off to the top left or right of the full screen. Have a crack at that.
If you have a lead on Brisbane 21 August 1992 - CT version, for the love of Bob, let me know. Please!
By the end of Game Of Thrones the intro theme was almost longer than the episodes. I'll maybe sit through the first time but after that I can't be done with it. Especially the "previously on" BS that takes up way too much episode time for people with the memory of a goldfish
It depends. From time to time, I want to hear the theme song, but other times I’ll skip it. Hearing the theme song often gets me excited/sets the tone for whatever it is I’m about to watch.

The best opening credits for any show had to br for The Fall Guy. It was so long that by the time it had finished it was time for the first set of adverts.
