I found some more articles. It looks like the plan is a Vegas race in 2023. The course would be around the grounds of the Bellagio. That should work as the Bellagio property is huge. Hopefully, maybe I'll be able to go. There's a lot that has to happen but it's not out of the question.
The money F1 (or the FIA or F1 management or whomever it is) is making off of this sport must be simply incomprehensible. How else do you explain keeping this weekend’s race on? Or explain adding this circuit last year in the first place?
I’m kind of surprised that they actually removed Sochi from the calendar this year. I wonder if it had been closer to that race weekend when the war started and they didn’t have time to find a replacement circuit on the calendar if they would’ve canceled it…?

“unanimously agreed” Really? Aramco, a major F1 sponsor’s crude oil facility 6 miles from the circuit is bombed and everyone is fine. I find that hard to believe. Seems like a message was being sent.
And the drivers agreed unanimously as well? I find it hard to believe Hamilton went along with it. And what a Shirtty weekend for Seb to miss. You know he’d have something to say!
Also, “complete reassurances” — How is that even possible?!
Yep. This is wrong on all levels. It won't be cancelled because the world needs an alternative source of oil & they'll want to keep the bonesaw-happy nation sweet with all that sweet sweet TV coverage & advertising revenue. I see why Sochi was pulled (other than it is a really shiatty circuit) but it's quite alarming how selective people can be when it comes to a nation's moral stand point.
Round and round and round and round they go But not so fast when they get to Monaco
Even Lewis Hamilton, sorry, Sir Lewis Hamilton, is a bit hypocritical - last F1 season at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix he claimed he didn't know enough about the human rights issues to comment, I'm prepared to say he tells/told porkies.
