Ya, those are real hit & miss. I didn't try any this year I was wild about. Have had a few good ones in the past. Mostly depends on the roaster. We have a real lot of those here, haha. Did you know espresso & marijuana is called a Seattle speedball?
Thanks for responding to my post chuckrh . I'm not normally picky when it comes to coffee, so I’m sorta bummed out by this one ! I guess they all can’t be winners though .
Have you eve tried a Seattle speedball?
I have lived on them in a younger & wilder days, haha. I've had home espresso machines for years & the other well..... PS: it is totally legal here now. They took some of the fun out of it when they removed the scofflaw aspect. These days I don't smoke it anymore. I do use some edibles that are consistent & don't rip my head off. I'm more interested in being straight now. My doctors approve especially given the circumstances.

I’m intrigued. I haven’t touched any of that stuff since my teens, but that *stuff* sounds like a good time. Maybe? It’s been completely legal in Canada for like five to six years or so, and there’s a plethora of shops that sell it.

My weapon of choice is infused lemonade. It comes in a beer bottle size that has 100 mg of THC. Also, there is a measuring device included. It's about 10 doses a bottle. Important to read the directions & follow the dosage. Also, shake the contents before measuring. Cost is less than $20 so very cost effective. The buzz is on the mild side & of course you can get stronger by using more. I usually take the dosage & put it in orange juice. Nurse it for awhile & nice low key buzz ensues. If you just drink the shot it's more immediate & a bit stronger. I use it to augment the pain meds I'm on. It has enabled me to slow the progression of dosages on the pills. Sadly, that's all changing because the RA is worse & the spine situation which is also caused by the RA. So, currently I've been using some homemade truffles that a friend makes. They are waaaaaay too strong for me, so I cut them into quarters. Sorry if any of this is redundant to PM I sent yesterday. I'm a bit fuzzy these days, haha. If you can find something similar at the herb store just go slow. The world of edibles is perilous. A lot of them you can way over do it easily. So say, you get a cookie. Don't eat the whole thing at first. Start with a quarter & see how that goes. Don't want you to do too much & have an unpleasant experience. I've always preferred the herb to alcohol. Nowadays it's a tool as I'm not looking to get blotto. Good luck & enjoy!
You know thinking about it, as interesting as it sounds, I’ll probably pass. Don’t know whether I really should pick up a new habit at my age. I’ll stick to good old booze and coffee for the time being.

Sadly, I can't drink (which was a little wine once in awhile when I had to stop) due to interactions with some of the meds I have to take. The words "liver damage" tend to get your attention real quick!
One of my favourite moments of every day is when I sit down at my computer and take my first sip of coffee. I’m wearing a fluffy, white sweater too, so it sort of looks like a scene from a Maxwell House Commercial!

That is a nice moment, isn’t it?
It’s really a moment that I look forward to every single day!

My wife and I have discovered a local brand of iced coffee at the supermarket, with NO SUGAR, so we have two of those each morning on the couch chatting about the silliness of the coming day, and state of the world. She then makes a pot of coffee that I hit a couple of times during the morning.

Getting to hang out with your wife first thing in the morning over coffee and talk sounds amazing. It's nice that you found a local brand to support every day, too.
Iced coffee always feels blasphemous to me even in the hottest part of summer, except if it's Vietnamese iced coffee. Not sure why.
