I'm a Nespresso person. I got a machine given to me & I only have one a day. There was a time when I would drink more coffee than I care to admit, but I overdid it during a few nights on live report threads for a The Cure tour and made myself quite ill. Now, just a ristretto or equivalent in my bat mug is good for me. I have some decaf capsules too if i fancy one during the day as I know that's just pretend coffee and it's not going to make me start climbing walls or anything but I rarely drink it as it's not really worth the effort.
I recommend Guarana...I get the Brazilian powder from a wholefood mail order place in Glastonbury...£50 for a half years supply. It's complete amphetamine kick - I genuinely used to be a pint of expresso just to get the kids in school and I still enjoy an occassional coffee, maybe one a month. Just for the taste of it... when I need a coffee kick I go for guarana...the powder not the guarana based drinks.
I purchase and then grind up coffee beans, but I’m not too fussy about the brands I use. I do love sitting in coffee houses though sipping on lattes and cappuccinos.

Three cups in the morning, usually before 10, then I’m on the decafs just for the taste for the rest of the day where I have anywhere from 1 to 5, but they don’t count!

This is similar to my intake. I grind beans (dark roast, only) and fix myself a large French press every morning. It’s about three big-ish mugs, and I drink it with milk, or with cream if I have some leftover from cooking.
Once I turned about 40 I found I couldn’t do caffeinated coffee after about 3 o’clock if I wanted to fall asleep later. That, along with a diminished tolerance for fried foods, mark my transition into being elderly.

Somewhat interestingly, it seems having milk and/or sugar in your coffee protects your teeth a bit more than drinking it black.

From staining, I assume you mean. Probably not from the effects of sugar on teeth, though I wouldn’t know if drinking sugared drinks is the same as eating lots of sugary food, from the perspective of tooth decay..
