I definitely agree with you it's better than 4:13 or self-titled. But I'm not sure it's a meaningful comparison, because it has nothing to do with TC.

All that aside, that album holds a really special place in my heart and has been a part of some great experiences.

Agree with notkristie and also a bit unfair to "compare" it to a Cure album. Maybe unfair is not a good word but it's not really like Cure music. That being said, it is a fabulous effort and of course I only like it when Robert is singing. Sorry Jeanette.

I do prefer the original album without the demo versions on the extra disc.
I think I got used to it like that & hearing Bob sing those songs makes it a smidge harder not to slap a The Cure label on it.
