Just watched it and am filled with such love for him! Strictly platonic, of course. A generous spirit.
I have to laugh because it is also comforting to know that there are other wives who have to look at a mess of cables and cords in their house. Clean that up before someone trips!
Watched it again, downloaded it of course and feel happy. I would have never thought several years before that happiness is the feeling I've got in the first place while seeing Robert and/or The Cure...
Anyway, this time I was able to focus on more things that his bare feet (that and those rag pants of his was really wonderful, and yes, I also wear very similar clothes at home, always have to change when leaving ) So, I must say that In Your House was truly excellent. I loved all the three but this one is so special and sounded so gooood... Oh... I want The Cure gig even more than before!
But I don't see And I don't feel But tightly hold up silently My hands before my fading eyes And in my eyes Your smile
I mistook stars reflected in a pond at night for those in the sky.
So about the other guitars, when on the road does he play them cos he loves them or is it just part of the contract to stick with them full stop?
I'd imagine it's a contractual thing. But in saying that he'd need to like them otherwise playing them would be a chore.
I'm really surprised Fender didn't offer to do a Signature Jazzmaster, Acoustic and Bass VI. Can you imagine the sales that would generate?? Talk about a missed opportunity.
If you have a lead on Brisbane 21 August 1992 - CT version, for the love of Bob, let me know. Please!

Agreed. I have doubts he’d enter into a contract to do that if he didn’t feel solidly about it. At least that’s what I’d like to think...
The Schecter deal varies depending on how big an act you are. A mate gets a free Schecter every year as long as he's touring.
Bob and Simon design their own so I imagine the relationship is a lot more in their favour. They are, by all accounts, incredibly tough roadworthy guitars so it makes sense to take them out for long tours and keep the crown jewels safe at home.
