Hello everyone,
You may be able to help me...
I can't manage to find back a movie (title) which i have seen years ago and I liked very much... Although I can't remember its title or the actors or almost anything at all!!
It's a drama, american movie, probably between 1995-20015 (i know that's quite a few years for search), set in contemporary time, suburbs in south US. It's like made of different short stories, we follow the life of different people, like there is no relation between them, like there is not even a story in the movie, it's just different life's point of views, until the end when we understand that what's happening to someone has influenced everything in all the characters we have sen previously in the movie, and thus everything clicks, everything falls in the right place, everyone 's life is connected.
I can't even remember the movie scenes! But let's ilmagine...
An employee takes coffee at a diner and flirts with the waitress,
A young black man plays basket with friends,
The black waitress accidentaly drops coffee on a policeman knees and the policeman his angry against her,
At night, a man takes an other man who is hitch-hiking, and ends up killing him,
A man wishes his son a good night and a good basket training the next day,
Policemen have a barbecue and some are singles and despair for love.
A man learns that his boy has been killed at pedestrian crossing by a road car crash.
- And here we understand everything
The used car shop owner fired his employee because he was late at work.
The employee was late at work because he had just discovered his wife had a mexican lover.
The employee killed the hitch-hiker because he was angry at mexican men.
The mexican man was hitch-hiking because he was coming to see his friend a young black man.
The young black man couldn’t train the young boys basket team because he was suspected by the policemen for the hitch-hiker's murder,
The young boy was killed by a car on a pedestrian crossing while going to see his father, the used car shop owner, because his basket training was canceled.
Does that kind of movie rings any bell?
